This video adds the ‘A’ part of twinkle to the coordination lessons. Note that it still starts at the ‘B’ section of twinkle. I did this on purpose so that you were really establishing these skills from a balanced place on the cello, hopefully allowing for the best possible results. These skills set the foundation for you playing the cello, we only have 4 fingers and this should firmly establish the base of all your cello playing in the 134 hand shape. Whether we are in first position or beyond, these skills are all the same so you get a lot transferable skills and abilities. Practice them accurately with the most precision you can. You can use this video as a terrific practice video for many weeks, months… I generally start most lessons with this as a warm up for many weeks.
